I am a Sociologist studying how districts (re)produce unequal access to the school choice process through institutional practices. All of my work is committed to understanding how organizations shape inequality, with a particular interest in educational inequities, policy, and access gaps.
I also have my MSEd in Urban Education from the Graduate School of Education at UPenn, and spent three years working in public charter schools in North Philadelphia teaching middle and high school English Language Arts.
